Animation WorkshopsThe Animation workshops at the heart of the ANIMACOR Festival have become one of the public’s most sought-after activities at earlier festivals. In addition to the now classic Drawing Workshop, where children can enjoy being creative with pencils and paper on traditional drawing tablets, new 3D and 2D Digital Animation Workshops have been designed for Animacor‘08. To this end, we will have the special collaboration of the DeSEA Association (Software Developers for Entertainment and the Arts), who will put on the 3D Modeling for Video Games Workshop, a hands-on workshop in which students do the modeling and/or animation of a simple character to be later included in a video game. The Mass Digital company will lead the Animation, Editing and Video Post-production Workshop. With this workshop, students will be given practical instruction on basic principles for doing video, including special effects, text and music. Another new feature to this year’s Festival will be the 2D Digital Animation Workshop, in which participating students will be able to use an animation tool and apply their knowledge to making different animation. The scheduled program provides for participation in these Workshops to be reserved during the mornings for schools and educational centers of Córdoba -both the city and the county- attending the Festival. In the afternoon, the 3D Modeling for Video Games Workshop and the 2D Digital Animation Workshop will be open to the public, while the Animation, Editing and Video Post-production Workshop will be limited in its seating and entrance will require prior registration.
