Competition Rules

• The purpose of this competition is to select the five members of the Children’s Jury, to be established during the Second International Animation Festival, ANIMACOR 2006 (Córdoba, 23 - 28 October)
• The subject of the competition will be Cartoons, and it will be held from 3 to 8 July, from 6.00 to 9.00 p.m.
• Participants must be between 9 and 12 years old.
• All cartoons should be produced in Centro Comercial La Sierra, in the area specially-designated for that purpose. Carrefour will provide drawing materials, which must be used for producing the competition entries.
• Only one entry will be allowed per child.
• Entries should bear the name, age, address and telephone number of the child concerned, and a space should be left for parental authorisation. These data will not be used for any purpose than that of the competition itself.
• The entries produced during the day will be displayed on a cork board.
• The jury will largely be made up of professionals from the audiovisual, culture and arts world, who will be appointed by the Director of ANIMACOR 2006.
• The five winning entries will receive a diploma, and the authors form the Children’s Jury, which will present the Prize for Best Television Series at the ANIMACOR 2006 Festival, taking part in the related activities of the festival.
• The organization will contact the parents/guardians of the winners to seek authorisation for their child’s participation in the Children’s Jury of the Second International Animation Festival, ANIMACOR 2006.
• Pictures of the children taking part may be taken during the competition and during the festival, and may be used for promotional videos, presentations, etc., all for non-profit-making purposes.
• The Jury will also choose a reserve list of winners, in case any of the winners cannot attend the Animation Festival, ANIMACOR 2006.
• C.C. La Sierra y Carrefour will present each of the winners with a set of drawing materials.
• Prizes will be presented in the Centro Comercial La Sierra on a date yet to be fixed, once the winners have finished their activities as members of the Children’s Jury in the ANIMACOR 2006 festival.
• All winning and non-winning entries will become the property of Carrefour, although ANIMACOR will retain access to them.
• Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the rules as laid out here.
