ANIMACOR 2004 (INTERNATIONAL SAMPLE OF ANIMATION CINEMA)

ANIMACOR 2004 was celebrated in Cordoba in October from 26 to 30 2004.

In this first edition of the International Sample of Animation Cinema as outstanding event, desert homage to the professional life of the great master of the animation was carried out. As well as, they offered activities of interest to the professionals, the producers and the audience in general.

Projections of three countries were programmed: Japan, Spain and Portugal, in which a selection of animation producers which were carried out in previous times and they are carried out at the present time in collaboration with the Filmoteca of Andalucía. There took place conferences in charge of the Spanish professional of grateful international prestige who counted their working experience in Disney; there were carried out presentations of books and exhibitions of artistic animation.

Here, the presentation of the short film “Zacarías Zombie” made by the students of the formation course in Cordoba was highlighted, where was specially shown that in less than two years, with few resources, but having talent and illusion, they can make interesting things if they know how the specialised formation that is imparted to the youth to take advantage appropriately.
