3rd Annual Meeting of the Animation Industry of Andalucia

Introduction
As part of its policies for boosting and promoting the audiovisual sector,
the Council of Culture is carrying out several resolute plans of action for strengthening
and increasing the sector’s weight in our community.
The production of animated film is emerging in our autonomous region and every day it is establishing itself more and more solidly. More and more companies dedicated to this genre are starting up all over the province with great diversity in their aesthetic offerings. For this reason we believe initiatives like this one provide deeper understanding of the animation production sector’s situation for European distributors, and this is one of the most significant difficulties faced by artists in Andalucia: the problem of commercializing and distributing films.
Faced with continual changes at a time of constant modernization, training has become an indispensable tool when it comes to thinking about renovating the instruments that the audiovisual industry depends on, because at times technology is ahead of the professional profiles themselves and it is necessary for them to be kept up to date constantly.
With this new “Meeting”, we want to emphasize all the experiences and proposals for training within the animation sector that are currently being developed in our Community. In this way, the commitment to what is being done to consolidate and develop the sector will be demonstrated, which is indispensable for creating a solid industrial fabric in audiovisuals.
