The Internacional Jury whose results will be know on Friday 28th October is composed by the following members:
Graduate in Law at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, and general body official for the civil administration management of the state since 1986.
Amongst his responsabilities in administration, the most prominent ones were Head of Legal Services and Head of Research and Documentation Services in the Institute for Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), or that of Head of Legislative Development Services in the General Secretary for Technology in the same Ministry of Culture.
In the course of this period (1986-1997), more precisely, in 1991, he moved onto "special services" in the public sector to take the role of Administrator for the Cultural Foundation MEDIA, a training institute in the audiovisual industry supported by the European Commision's MEDIA Programme, a post he kept until 1993, a date when he rejoined the Administration to continue his administrative career.
In 1997 he left this sector once more to take on the role of Director of the MEDIA Desk Spain Office, an information an consultancy centre for the European Commission's MEDIA Programme, mainly, since the Federation of Spanish Audiovisual Production Associations (FAPAE), for, beginning 2003, he continued as Director for the Cultural Foundation MEDIA DESK SPAIN, a cultural institution integrated with ICAA (Ministry of Culture), the Organization for the Management of Spanish Audiovisual Producers' Rights (EGEDA) including the FAPAE.
Since the said responsabilities, he has maintained regular contact with audiovisual officials both in Regional and Local Administration, as well as representatives of other private and public organizations on an European scale.
In this time, besides taking on other posts of responsability, in both the private and public sector, he has been a juror for several audiovisual awards and festivals, member of the Board of Directors of the FAPAE, representing Spanish in the MEDIA Comity and well ass the Council of the European Audiovisual Observatory, coordinator for research and analysis activities in the industry, member of governmental organisms and workshops in cultural and professional institutions, and author of articles and other editorial collaborations in specialised media, always in the cinematographic and audiovisual framework.
He is an expert in the fields of financing and promotion of audiovisual works and has developed his usual professional activity on both a national as well as internacional level.

Born in Tetuán (Morocco), in 1955. Having earned his degrees in Imaging Science and in Journalism from the Information Science Department at the Universidad Computense in Madrid, he is now a producer at Televisión Española since 1984, although his professional carrer has been developing since 1977.
He was responsable for programmes such as A VISTA DE PÁJARO. He was also a commissioner for TVE from 1987, executive producer for Programas de Ficción y Animación from 1994, producer for theatrical programmes in 2000 and commissioner for Cinematographic Production until 2005.
He is now Production Director for Canales Temáticos y Animación, as well as one of those responsable for launch of Canal Cloan, a children's channel which will soon begin broadcasting its shows through Televisión Digital Terrestre (TDT).
Mr. Piero Fortini, Director of the International Animation Cinema of Italy "Castelli Animati".
Piero Fortini was born in 1950. He is Director of Consorzio Castelli, which organises the Internacional Animated Film Festival "I Castelli Animati" which takes place in the area of the Castelli Romani and which was created by Piero himself.
Since the year 2000, I Castelli Animati, which has now reached its tenth edition, is a member of the circuit of the seven Festivals of excellence of th Cartoon d'Or.
Piero Fortini works on the processes of integration between cultural events, economic development and marketing projects.
Professionally he begins in 1978 in the studies Filman of Madrid working in TV series Hanna-Barbera, The Flinstone, Yogi Bear, etc. In 1984 he moves to Paris to work in the animated film Asterix and Cesar's Surprise, after which they will arrive other two: Asterix in Britain and The Blow of the Menhir.
Of return to Spain he creates the study Lápiz Azul Animación next to other partners, working in some internacional productions until signing an exclusivity agreement with Walt Disney Animation France.
After leaving Lápiz Azul he continues working for Walt Disney from Madrid until his transfer to Paris in 1994 to work in Runaway Brian and The Humpback of Notre Dame.
He returns to Madrid and to start, as creative director, of Iberian Creative Services, artistic department of Walt Disney Company Spain and Portugal that it didn't exist until that moment and in the one that this to the front during 3 years. After leaving this position he creates a new study: Animagic Studio. At the moment he works as independent professional for the studies Milimetros, among other.
Mr. Francisco Gómez Zayas, journalist and representative of RTVA.
Director and presenter of cinematographic information programas for Canal 2 Andalucía since the launch of the said channel, the Cordobesan Francisco Gómez Zayas belonged to the staff of RTVA since its birth.
He was a commissioner in Córdoba for the afore-mentioned company between 1989 and 1998 and has always had ties with cinema in his professional path. For Canal 2 Andalucía he has directed "Con el cine en los talones" winner of awards for Best Andalusian Television Production in 1999 and Best Cinematographic News Programme in the same year, both produced by ASECAN - and "Cine.dos" which also won the ASECAN trophy for Best Television Program in 2001-.
Before forging ties with Canal Sur, Francisco Gómez Zayas was editor for Radiocadena Española (now, Radio Nacional de España) in the territorial center of Córdoba, for Nuevo Diario de Córdoba and for El Diario Córdoba. Occasionally he collaborates with other mediums of communication.
On the other hand the Festival counts on an infantile jury between 9 and 12 years, which are the winners of the painting competition “Draw your Quixote version” mabe with the collaboration of Galería Comercial and the Supermarket Carrefour-Sierra. This juri will choose the prize to the best series.
