BARBERSHOP (Short film)

Sinopsis:
A nusical piece that takes place in a 1950 style barber shop.
A business man, a builder an da elderly man get a trim and shave in a rather unusual and musical Barbershop.
The Barbershop staff perform their service as part of a musical routline, to the confusion of their three customers.
The rhythm of the music ("Tuxedo Junction" The Four Freshmen 1950) leads to a bouncy and uplifting animated piece.
Brackground:
Mick O'Sullivan studied animation at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dublin, Ireland from 1998 to 2002.
In 2002 Mick received a Higher Diploma in Animation/Design and Communication with distinction, from which his end of year animation short "Bones" was chosen for and aired at the Galway Film Fleadh the same year.
In 2003 Mick was recruited by Boulder Media Limited to work as a Flash animator on the Cartoon Network show "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends".
Mick continues working on "Fosters" to date.
In 2005 Barber Shop started production in Boulder Media Limited; the film was written and directed by Mick O'Sullivan and is his first professional animated short.
